Recently, the Spanish Association of Dehydrated Alfalfa Manufacturers (AEFA) has published data for 2024, highlighting a growth of 15.3% over the previous year. Although this figure represents a recovery, we are still far from the historical average, as can be seen in the export evolution graphs available in Forsaforrajes.  <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>An analysis in perspective<\/strong><br\/>To better understand the context, it is crucial to analyze the evolution of recent years. In 2023, exports suffered a 38.84% drop compared to 2022, falling from 1,066,980 tons to 652,538 tons. If we look at the recent trajectory:<br\/>&#8211; 2023: 652,538 T<br\/>&#8211; 2022: 1,066,980 T<br\/>&#8211; 2021: 1,460,311 T<br\/>&#8211; 2020: 1,051,511 T<br\/>&#8211; 2019: 1,100,112 T<br\/>This decline in 2023 reflects a drastic reduction in international demand, which has significantly affected the sector. However, the recovery in 2024 opens a door to optimism.   <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Key factors and future prospects<br\/><\/strong>Beyond the figures, it is essential to analyze which countries are importing these products and how demand has changed in recent years. The evolution of the dairy and livestock sector will be decisive in consolidating the upward trend in the coming years.
